Bobby Wayne West Sr.

Bobby Wayne West Sr., age 58, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 3, 2026.

Born on October 4, 1967, Bobby was a man known for his big smile, boisterous laugh, and exceptionally friendly demeanor. He possessed an amazing sense of humor and was quite the prankster, making him a favorite uncle among many. A talented mechanic by trade, Bobby was always tinkering with something or fixing a car or truck. He truly loved working on vehicles and possessed a rare knack for diagnosing mechanical issues before he even opened the hood.

Bobby was joined in Holy Matrimony to Cynthia Gann, on September 18, 1993. Together, they shared a beautiful life and were blessed with four children.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia West; his children, Bobby Wayne West Jr., Walter Wayne West, Tisha Ann West Berten (David Berten), and Dusty Wayne West; and his nine cherished grandchildren and step-grandchildren; Mercedes, Alexus, Ryker, Decklan, Blair, Waylon, Paige, Kayden, and Anna.

Bobby also leaves behind his siblings, Betty and (Danny Johnson), Bill and (Sandy West), Pauline Gilkey (Gino Marks), Mary West, Dollie and (Dwayne Burris), Laura Gilkey, Kristy and (Travis Stinnette), Pam Black and April Green, as well as a large, loving extended family of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Dolly West. His brother, Tom West and his mother and father in law, Shirley and Melvin Gann.
