Bonnie J. Koehn passed away peacefully on Saturday June 26, 2021 at Butler Center Nursing Home, Butler, MO.  She was born October 30, 1926 in Rich Hill, MO. to William E. and Delsa Myrtle Dunaway Ramage.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 68 years Wayne Koehn, one son, Stan Koehn, a son-in-law, Jerry Hill, her sister Barbara and two brothers, Bill and Bob.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Ronnie and Janice Koehn, Adrian, MO, Phyllis Hill, Lawson, MO, Bob and Wanda Koehn, Claycomo, MO, Steve Koehn, Missouri City, MO, Cheryl and Amanda Koehn, West Fork, AR, Mark and Rhonda Koehn, Adrian, MO and Kelly and Bob Eakes, Drexel, MO.  Numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.

Bonnie grew up in the Rich Hill area, graduating from Rich Hill High School in 1944.  Bonnie worked at the Rich Hill Hatchery, later at Montgomery Wards in KCMO and Di-Li-My Restaurant in Archie, MO.

Bonnie was the kindest and most considerate person, a blessing to all who knew her.  She raised eight kids, feeding us and any stray kids we brought home, from our cellar that sometimes held hundreds of quarts of home canned goodness, especially pickles.  She made Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, tatted, crocheted afghans for all the new babies, even having made and left some for future babies.

Her Thanksgiving dinners were awesome and the Fourth of July was always a huge family get together for the Rich Hill carnival and fireworks.

Bonnie was Baptized as a young lady while attending the Rich Hill Christian Church and remained faithful throughout her lifetime.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Heuser Funeral Home in Rich Hill, MO.  Visitation one hour prior at 11:00am.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Friends of Greenlawn Cemetery, Rich Hill, MO.
