David Wyatt Sr.

David Dean Wyatt, Sr, 73, of Rich Hill, MO, lost his battle with brain cancer on September 14, 2021 at his home and surrounded by family.

David was born to Con Wyatt, Sr. and Brooksie Elder Wyatt in Fayette, MO on July 28, 1948.

David served in Vietnam and was a Decorated Army Veteran.

He drove a truck for most of his life after the Army.

He met his wife Margaret “Maggi” Petrich in Omaha in 2006 and they were married March 21st, 2008.  David had a big heart and cared about everyone. He always had a joke or tall tale for you.  He will be lovingly remembered and missed by surviving family including daughter Shelly and husband Orin Worden of Battle Ground, WA; son Daniel Wyatt of Rich Hill, MO; stepson Jared Peterman of LaPlace, LA, and stepdaughter Joy Lynn Meyer of Princeton, TX; two sisters, Bulah Jane Nichols of Vandalia, IL and Grace Shields of Columbia, MO; one brother, Robert and wife Louise Wyatt of Columbia, MO; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nephews, nieces and cousins. David came from a very large and loving family and had many friends.

David was preceded in death by his wife Maggi; his parents; a son, David Wyatt, Jr; five brothers, Sterling Wyatt, Russell Wyatt, Fred Wyatt, Con Wyatt, Jr. and Maurice Wyatt; four sisters, Hattie Nichols, Joy Vaughan, Mary Waller, and Katherine Chamberlain.

David’s ashes will be released in the Missouri Headwaters located near Three Forks, Montana on his birthday - July 28, 2022.

There are no services per David’s wishes.
