Garry Smith

Garry A. Smith was born April 6, 1950 in Butler, Missouri, the son of Etsil and Vita Faye (Trollinger) Smith.  He passed away March 2, 2020 at his home in Rich Hill, Missouri, at the age of 69 years.
Garry was a Rich Hill High School graduate of the class of 1971.  He was a farmer all his life, until he retired.  He enjoyed attending all his nephews sporting events and eating Sunday meals at the Rich Hill Café—fried chicken day!
He is survived by his brother, Larry Smith of Nevada, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Pollard of Nevada, Missouri, and Sue and Jerry Cornelius, of Rich Hill, Missouri; three nephews, Jared and Angie Bolser, Mike Bolser, and Steven Wiser; four great-nephews, Jordan Bolser, Cody Bolser, Sabin Bolser, and Sage Bolser; one great-niece, Salym Bolser; other family and friends.
Garry will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Graveside service will be held 2 pm Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Green Lawn Cemetery, Rich Hill.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 1:30 pm Thursday at the Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill.  Contributions are suggested to the Vernon County Pet Shelter, c/o Heuser Funeral Home.  Online condolences can be left at www.heuserfunerals.com.
