Gerald Mellenbruch

Gerald (Jerry) Mellenbruch passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home on January 2, 2026.

Jerry was born and raised in the Rich Hill area. He married his high school sweetheart Pat Boyles and had two children. He was blessed with five grandsons and three great grandchildren. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his greatest joy.Jerry is survived by his daughter Peggy (Tom) Turner, daughter in law Michelle Mellenbruch, grandsons Brent Mellenbruch, Alan Turner (Destiny), Brandon (Nichole) Mellenbruch, Nathan (Lacey) Mellenbruch, Austin Mellenbruch and great grandkids Cooper Mellenbruch, Connor Mellenbruch and Hadley Turner.

Jerry is also survived by his “inherited” daughters Jonelia Hesleman and Kristine Wright.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Pat, son Richard, and his parents Maurice (H.M.) and Zola (Davidson) Mellenbruch, infant sister Sharon and dear sister in law Trishia Boyles.

Jerry was the foundation of his family. His legacy will be forever present and carried forward by his grandsons and his great grandsons and his “princess.” Jerry said, “I’ve done a lot of things and had a lot of fun on the way.”

Funeral service will be 1 pm Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the Heuser Funeral Home. Burial in the Salem Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Salem Cemetery.  Online condolences can be left at www.heuserfunerals.com.
