Lola Stoner

Lola Marie (Moreland) Stoner, age 82, of Nevada, Missouri passed away at her home in Nevada on January 20, 2020.  She was born on August 11, 1937 in Butler, Missouri, the daughter of Lloyd Wilson and Sally Francis (Derr) Moreland.

Lola was married to Leland “Bud” Stoner.  They owned at operated numerous businesses in the Rich Hill area, moving to Nevada in later years after retirement.  Lola enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She loved to play pitch.

Lola was preceded in death by her husband on February 13, 2016; her parents; three brothers: Ronald Bud Moreland, Jaydee Moreland, Tom Moreland; and one sister, Wanda Blankenship.

She is survived by two sisters: special sister, Kate Champlin of Nevada, Missouri; Sally & Gerald Bauer of Rockville, Missouri; special great niece, Cierra Bear of Nevada, Missouri; many other nieces and nephews.

Her family suggests memorial contributions to Children’s Mercy Hospital in care of Heuser Funeral Home.
