Ruth Skoff

Ruth Skoff departed this life for Heaven on August 2, 2021.  She was born ‘Ruthann Wiseman’ on April 1, 1927 in Conrad, Iowa.  On June 1, 1947 she married Charles Skoff in Rich Hill, Missouri.  They began this thing we call life.

They started with the birth of their first daughter, Diana and that was followed by the birth of Cathy, Debi, Sue, and Lori....yes, all girls!

They moved back to Rich Hill when Charles retired in 1980.  Many memories were made in that home! Ruth was an avid seamstress, reader, and fixer of ponytails. She was a homemaker and a great cook. Her faith in God was so strong.  Ruth was a member of Rich Hill Christian Church. She set a great example for all of us! We will miss her so much.

Charles and Ruth were married 62 years and he preceded her in death in 2009. They lost their daughter Lori in 1998.  Ruth leaves behind 4 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers.  We will always remember you, Mom!

A private graveside service was held on Friday, August 6 at Green Lawn Cemetery in Rich Hill, Missouri.  Memorial Contributions can be made to The Kern Center in care of Heuser Funeral Home. Online condolences can be left at www.heuserfunerals.com.
