Wilma Starr

Wilma Irene (Ratts) Starr of Nevada, Missouri passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at her home.  Wilma was born in Bates County on May 26, 1921 near Sprague, Missouri, the daughter of Harvey Parker Ratts and D’Ella (Querry) Ratts.  Her personality endeared her to all who knew her, a smile and compassion for everyone—young and old—a deep concern for humanity and lover of beauty in all things.  Her most cherished hours in her life were spent enjoying the outdoors.  Wilma was preceded in death by her husband,
Donald L. Starr; parents, Harvey and D’Ella Ratts, brother, Harvey Ratts, Junior; sisters, Sue Ellen Ratts and Pauline R. Skaggs; stepson, Michael Starr; stepdaughter, Donna Kyle and husband Hoyt Kyle, and sister-in-law, Addie Starr.  She is survived by her nephew, Stephen (Teresa) Skaggs and family; cousins, Marvin (Diane) Querry and family, Keith (Sandra) Querry and family, Tom (Jolene) Querry and family, and Sheryl Querry Hinton (Junior) and family

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 17 at the Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, Missouri.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time.  Burial will follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery.  The family suggest contributions to the McGennis Youth Center and may be sent in care of Heuser Funeral Home P.O. Box 42 Rich Hill, Missouri  64779.  Arrangements under the direction of Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, Missouri.
